and Wishes for a Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! One of my New Year resolutions is to post weekly on this site. Today I have a Valentine card I am working on for a swap I am doing with other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. We each choose a new stamp set from the upcoming January – April Mini Catalog and create 10 identical cards with it. Then we trade cards. I chose the Hugs for Love stamp set to create my Valentine card. I’ll get 10 different cards in return. This will give me great ideas to use in my classes.
This card uses the Hugs for Love Bundle, it’s perfect for creating Valentine cards. This bundle includes the Hugs for Love photopolymer stamp set and the To the Point Label punch. You save 10% when you purchase the bundle . I can’t show you pictures of the stamp set until January 7th when the mini catalog goes live. The electronic version will be available on January 7th. If you’d like a paper copy, contact me and I’ll help you get one.

Here is the inside of the card:

All of the stamps used on this Valentine card come from the one stamp set, Hugs for You. Also used were Thick Basic White card stock , Basic Black card stock, Regals Designer Series Paper (a piece of a Real Red design), the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder, Linen thread, Countryside Corners dies, Real Red ink pad, Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad, dimensionals and a Real Red Blends marker. I created the red bow by coloring the linen thread with the dark Real Red blends marker. The hearts were fussy cut and the sentiment was die cut using the smallest die from the Countryside corners dies. It’s not too soon to think about Valentine’s Day. This stamp set and coordinating punch will be available starting January 7th. Click here to shop at my online store. Sale A Bration also starts on January 7th. I’ll mention more about that next week.
