First card – Masculine Timeless Plaid Birthday Card
The first card from this month’s class was a simple masculine Timeless Plaid Birthday Card. The card uses Old Olive card stock for the card base and additional layer. The Designer Series Paper is Timeless Plaid, strips are cut at 1″ x 3 3/4″. The Basic White piece is 1 5/8″ x 3 3/4″. It’s been embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. The greeting is from The Right Words, but any you can substitue just about any greeting with this card. You can use any die shape you want to cut out your sentimemt – I used a die from the Countryside Corners Dies. The leaves were created from a piece of Basic White. I used Blending Brushes and Old Olive and Balmy Blue ink to create a variated piece. The leaves come from a die set that will be in the 2025 September – December Mini Catalog, called Peace on Earth. You can substitute any leafy die you have. The leaves are topped with a double bow made from Linen Thread. The cute embellishments are Shades of Green Hexagons.
