A fun hello from the bear in Peekaboo Forest
The Peekaboo Forest stamps and die set are so much fun to craft with. I love how this bear is peeking out from behind a bush to say hello!

Here’s the instructions to create this card:
Supplies:
- Stamp Sets – Peekaboo Forest (165387); Simply Said (163756)
- Card Stock – Basic Black (121045); Old Olive (100702); Basic White (166780)
- Misc. – Peekaboo Forest Dies (165390); Dimensionals (104430); Bone Folder (102300); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Paper Trimmer (152392); Floral Delight Designer Series Paper (DSP) (164700); Stylish Shapes Dies (159183); Nested Essentials Dies (161597); Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins (161627); Linen Thread (104199); Stampin’ Blends: Old Olive (154892), Crumb Cake (154882), Pecan Pie (161674), Pretty In Pink (163824); Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad (132708)
Measurements:
- Old Olive: 5 ½” x 8 1/2”, scraps for shrubs
- Basic White: 4” x 5 ¼”, 2 ½” x 3 ½”, scraps
- Old Olive DSP: 4” x 5 ¼”
- Basic Black: 3 ½” x 1 ¼”, scraps
- Linen Thread: 20”
Instructions:
- Fold Old Olive card base in half. Use bone folder to flatten the fold. Adhere DSP to the card front.
- Wrap linen thread around Basic Black rectangle twice and tie a bow near the left edge. Adhere this piece to the center of the card front at a slight angle.
- Die cut the second largest Nested Essentials rounded stitched rectangle from Basic White card stock. Stamp the sentiment and the bear on scraps of Basic White card stock. Die cut the sentiment with a banner die from Stylish Shapes and the bear with the coordinating die from the Peekaboo Forest Dies. Die cut approximately an inch of a banner die with a scrap of Basic Black card stock.
- Die cut the hedge pieces from scraps of Old Olive card stock. I created the piece right under the paws using two dies, separated from each other by ¼”. Use paper snips to cut the outside edges of the leaves out. The lower two hedge pieces are cut individually. Use an Old Olive Stampin’ Blends to add color to the edges of the leaves. Color the bear with Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake and Pretty In Pink Stampin’ Blends
- Adhere the stitched rectangle to the card front with dimensionals. Adhere the Basic Black banner piece under the bottom edge of the stitched rectangle. Adhere the sentiment to the top right of the stitched rectangle.
- Adhere the bear to the card front with dimensionals. Use dimensionals to adhere the larger hedge piece under the paws, overlap the bottom two pieces and adhere with dimensionals to create a bush. Adhere 3 brown sequins to card front.
- Stamp remaining piece of Basic White card stock as desired and adhere to inside of card.
