A birthday card using the Spring Corners stamp set
This is a sweet card using the Stampin’ Up! online exclusive stamp set and die bundle titled Spring Corners. The stamp set has 14 stamps to help you send greetings of love, thanks, and birthday wishes in every corner with the Spring Corners Stamp Set! This stamp set features sentiments that curve around corners for a distinct greeting style. Use in the corners of cards, tags, or scrapbook pages, or stamp repeatedly to make unique borders around the fun image stamps. The coordinating die set includes various designed corner dies, hearts, flowers, and more, you’ll love creating layered cards, tags, and scrapbook pages filled with detailed visual interest.

Here are the supplies I used to create this card:
Stamp Set – Spring Corners
Card Stock – Old Olive; Basic White; Basic Black
Stamp Pads – Tuxedo Black Memento; Basic Gray
Miscellaneous –Spring Corner Dies; Something Fancy Dies; Dimensionals; Bone Folder; Multipurpose Liquid Glue; Mini Glue Dots; Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine; Paper Trimmer; Paper Snips; Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs – Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Deep Combo; Low Profile Dots; Daffodil Delight 1/8” Satin Ribbon; Floral Delight Designer Series Paper; So Swirly Embossing Folder; Something Fancy Dies; tape
Here are the measurements-
Old Olive: 5 ½” x 8 1/2”, 3” x 3”
Basic Black: 4” x 5 ¼”, 2 ¼” x 2 5/8”
Designer Series Paper: 4” x 2 1/4”
Daffodil Delight Ribbon: 13”
Basic White: 2 1/8” x 2 ½”, 4” x 3”, scraps for sentiment and flowers
Card Instructions:
- Fold Old Olive card base in half. Use bone folder to flatten card base. Emboss 4” x 3” piece of Basic White card stock with the So Swirly embossing folder. Adhere to the upper section of the larger piece of Basic Black card stock. Adhere Designer Series Paper to the lower section of this piece. Cut a 5” piece of ribbon and wrap around the middle. Adhere to back with tape. Adhere this piece to the card front.
- Die cut 2 of the “L” shaped flowery pieces from the Spring Corners dies with Old Olive card stock. Adhere these to the 2 1/8” x 2 ½” piece of Basic White card stock to form a frame. Adhere this piece to the small piece of Basic Black card stock and adhere to the card front with dimensionals. Refer to picture for placement.
- Form a bow with the remaining ribbon and adhere to card front with a glue dot.
- Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Basic White card stock with Tuxedo Black ink. Die cut sentiment using an appropriate shape from the Something Fancy dies.
- Stamp flower image on a scrap of Basic White with Basic Gray ink. Die cut with corresponding shape from the Spring Corners dies. Color flowers with Stampin’ Blends. Adhere sentiment and flowers to card front with dimensionals. Add Low Profile Dots to card front.
